The Good Egg, Wichita KS

I worked at The Good Egg waiting tables from when I was 17 until I finished college at 22yrs. I worked there for 5 years!! Now I work as a graphic designer creating logos and designing websites etc. But at times I miss how great working at The Good Egg was, seriously! I know waking up at 4:30am every saturday for 5 yrs. was tough, but I had the who rest of my day to enjoy after 2:30pm. My favorite section was having the whole espresso bar, a few 4 tops, and a dew 6 tops. It was crazy busy to keep up with but I was good, fast and made people happy. It was so satisfying getting to interact with so many people and families. I knew most people by name and the rest by food order. I still see people out and about and recognize them as the "Veggie Omelet Guy" or the "Burned Bacon Lady". When you left at the end of the day you were done, no homework or stress. I met my husband at The Good Egg and had some of the best times during those years waiting on nice and interesting people.
